Size matters, but does it really?? How many of you worry about the size label when you are shopping for a new outfit? Have I put on weight? Have I lost weight? Oh I can’t buy that size……I’m normally a…..Come on girls!! Being a plus sized model has given me the confidence to appreciate what I have. Ok, I still have good and bad days but you learn to make the most of those good bits and we ALL have those!! I was always worrying about my weight and size growing up, especially in my teenage years. My best friend was much smaller than me but we were and still are completely different body frames. I look back on old photos of us together and laugh at how I was always so concerned about how big my head ( and it was way larger!!!) and whole body looked compared to hers. But that’s the thing, we are totally different people and our body shapes vary in many different ways. So a size 12 for example on one person will fit different on another person who wears a size 12. Shops really aren’t consistent with their sizing. A size 14 could fit in one shop and you then walk into another, try something else on in the same size and it’s too big or too small. It all depends on the style and the fabric of the clothing. If you like something then please do not be afraid to try a different size, by that I mean the next size up. If the outfit looks good then you should feel great. Who the hell cares what the ticket says!!
