~ 4 frozen bananas

~ 1 cup of strawberries & blackberries

~ 1 tsp maple syrup

~ 2 tsp raw cacoa

~ 1 tsp maca

~ 1 cup almond milk

Put all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.

Not only is this satisfying (especially when you have those pre-menstrual chocolate cravings!) but it is also packed with health benefits. -Cacoa, also known as “food of the gods”, contains high levels of antioxidants, it is a good source of protein, it can aid in lowering blood pressure and cholesterol and can improve digestion and leaves you with that ‘happy feeling’ due to Serotonins. -Maca is good for enhancing energy and stamina, improving memory and fertility. It can also help with female hormone imbalance, menstrual problems, menopause and boosting the immune system. -Berries are full of antioxidants, vitamin C, fibre and help boost memory. -Bananas are great for an energy boost, keeping blood pressure under control, reducing the risk of cancer especially bowel cancer and relieve constipation.

With all of these benefits in one glass it would be crazy not to drink it!!
